  • NEW SEASON 2014/15

We look forward to welcoming all our members, and of course any new members who wish to try us out, with our first rehearsal on Tuesday 9th September.

We have an exciting programme this season, kicking off with a Christmas Concert in the beautiful candlelit surroundings of St Matthew's Church in Harwell.  Our programme will include a number of well-known carols, some of which we hope the audience will join in with the singing, as well as some Czech songs and Chilcott's On Christmas Night.

  • Historic day for Didcot

Only half of the cooling towers in Didcot remain.....

Hope all our members had fun watching them come down.  Please let us know where you were when they came down. I was standing on one of the Ladygrove mounds getting very cold, having been sat there for over 2 hours!!

    Helen

P.s. Not long to go until we depart for Normandy, and just over a month until our autumn term begins. Enjoy your holidays folks.

  • Elijah Concert

Thank you to everyone who sang in our joint concert of Elijah with Abingdon and District Musical Society on Saturday 7th June at the Yolande Paterson Hall, School of St Helen and St Katharine.

We have received fantastic feedback from both choral members who enjoyed singing a large-scale work and also from some of our regular concert goers who enjoyed a fantastic concert in a new location.

To hear one of the movements, please visit our YouTube page.

    Merry Christmas!
